Oil Painting Progress Post #2

Paint has officially started to hit the canvas! We are currently starting to establish our grisaille painting. This is an underpainting done using black and white so you are only focused on value. You do this process in several passes. the first pass is just being basic blocking of colors and adding more and more detail as you build it up. I'm lagging due to missing some days but I am still making pretty good progress. My main concerns are the succulent details and getting the highlights on the bottle. I think that is going to be my biggest challenge. however, overall I'm fairly happy with how the piece is turning out.
